Goodwood Festival of Speed VIP Spectator Experience
Step Back into the Golden Age of Motor Racing
About This Tour
Experience the world’s most celebrated motorsport festival from the inside. This exclusive Goodwood Festival of Speed VIP package combines luxury hospitality, legendary race cars, helicopter views over the estate, and behind-the-scenes access at one of the greatest automotive events on the planet. From Formula 1 icons and historic race cars to modern hypercars and rally legends, Goodwood delivers a uniquely British mix of speed, style, and automotive culture — all set against the rolling countryside of West Sussex
Arrive at the Solent Hotel & Spa at your own pace and settle in before we meet in the afternoon for welcome drinks and a preview of the weekend ahead. With two incredible days at the Festival of Speed waiting for us, this is a chance to meet the group and get ready for Goodwood.
That evening, we head out to the Fox & Hounds, a classic English country pub, for our first dinner together. Good food, a traditional pub atmosphere and an easy first evening make for a fitting start to a very British weekend.
Today you enter the heart of the Goodwood Festival of Speed. A private transfer takes you through the rolling South Downs to the famous Goodwood Estate, where the sounds of Formula 1 engines, historic racers, rally cars, and supercars echo across the hills.
As guests of the prestigious Goodwood Road Racing Club, you enjoy exclusive access to the Kinrara Lounge with premium grandstand seating overlooking the legendary Hillclimb. Breakfast, lunch, afternoon drinks, and traditional English hospitality are all included.
Throughout the day, explore the paddocks, manufacturer displays, and moving automotive exhibitions while legendary drivers and racing icons appear throughout the festival grounds. A helicopter flight above the estate provides spectacular aerial views of the Hillclimb, Goodwood House, and the surrounding countryside.
The final day of the festival brings the famous Goodwood Hillclimb Shootout — the dramatic climax of the entire weekend. Once again, you enjoy VIP hospitality from the Kinrara Lounge while motorsport stars and racing legends stop by for interviews and informal guest appearances.
Around midday, a private chauffeur transfer brings you to the Goodwood Hotel for a Champagne reception and seasonal lunch featuring regional specialties sourced from the Duke of Richmond’s estate. Afterwards, the atmosphere intensifies as drivers push classic race cars, Formula 1 machines, hypercars, and rally legends to their limits on the Hillclimb course.
Before departure, there’s time for one last stroll through the Main Paddock — an unforgettable chance to see some of the world’s most valuable and historically important automobiles up close.
After two full days of cars, speed and spectacle at Goodwood, our final morning reveals a very different side of British history. Following breakfast and check-out, we head to Portsmouth and the historic home of the Royal Navy.
At the National Museum of the Royal Navy, the morning is yours to explore the historic dockyard and its remarkable maritime heritage at your own pace. There is also the option of taking a boat trip around Portsmouth’s historic harbour for a different perspective from the water. Around lunchtime, we leave the south coast behind and transfer directly to Terminal 2 at London Heathrow Airport, where our journey comes to an end.
England
The Goodwood Festival of Speed takes place on the historic Goodwood Estate in West Sussex, one of the spiritual homes of British motorsport. Set across 12,000 acres of rolling countryside near Chichester, the estate combines aristocratic elegance, racing heritage, and modern automotive culture in a way found nowhere else in the world.
Founded by the Duke of Richmond, the Festival of Speed has grown into the premier global celebration of motorsport and performance cars. Historic Formula 1 machines, Le Mans legends, rally cars, motorcycles, hypercars, and manufacturer concept vehicles all gather here each summer for a spectacular celebration of speed and engineering.
At the center of the event is the famous 1.16-mile Hillclimb, where drivers compete against the clock in front of hundreds of thousands of passionate fans. Unlike traditional race weekends, Goodwood creates unusually close access between visitors, cars, engineers, and racing legends. Guests can wander freely through paddocks, stand beside priceless race cars, and often meet drivers face-to-face.
Beyond motorsport, the festival is deeply rooted in classic British style: elegant hospitality lounges, Champagne gardens, countryside traditions, live music, and refined food experiences create an atmosphere that blends luxury lifestyle with racing culture.
For automotive enthusiasts, the Goodwood Festival of Speed is not simply an event — it is one of the great bucket-list experiences in the world of cars.
