Goodwood – Festival of Speed 2026
VIP access to the world's greatest celebration of motorsport
About This Tour
Embark on this extraordinary journey that places you at the heart of one of the globe’s most awe-inspiring automotive extravaganzas. Soar above Goodwood in a helicopter, gaining a breathtaking bird’s-eye view of the action, and enjoy exclusive access as a guest within the prestigious VIP lounge of the Goodwood Road Racing Club.
We look forward to welcoming you at the Solent Hotel & Spa in Portsmouth by early afternoon. Enjoy a welcome drink as you get acquainted with your fellow travelers and the Nostalgic support team. Portsmouth Harbour is one of the world’s most significant ports, home to Admiral Nelson’s flagship from the Battle of Trafalgar and the Mary Rose, the famed warship of King Henry VIII. We’ll explore this historic port area both by boat and on foot. In the evening, we invite you to join us for a festive welcome dinner at the harbor.
Start your day with a transfer to the Goodwood Festival of Speed 2026, an exhilarating blend of English countryside charm and the adrenaline rush of hill climbing. Experience a parade of vintage cars, Formula 1 vehicles from various eras, supercars, and rally cars tackling the famous Hill Climb. Enjoy the best views from the exclusive Kinrara Lounge of the Goodwood Road Racing Club, where you can indulge in a refined breakfast and lunch, savor a cider or Pimm’s in the garden, and watch the racing action from the grandstands. A helicopter tour over Goodwood provides a stunning overview of the Earl of March and Kinrara’s extensive estates. Meet legendary racers from Formula 1, Moto GP, and rallying during a paddock walk.
This morning we return to the Goodwood Festival of Speed 2026 for the final day of this four-day motorsport celebration. In the exclusive Kinrara Lounge, motorsport stars drop by for short interviews and to greet guests, creating unforgettable, up-close moments with racing legends. Around midday, you’ll be chauffeured by private transfer to the Goodwood Hotel for a relaxed Champagne welcome and a seasonal lunch of regional specialties, largely sourced from the Duke of Richmond’s estates and freshly prepared. Live music and the hotel’s attentive service set a refined, unhurried tone before you head back to the action. In the early afternoon, the festival reaches its climax: the traditional Hillclimb Shootout on the Goodwood hill. Prestige is on the line, drivers push their classic and contemporary icons to the limit, and the marshals work hard to keep the course clear—part of the electrifying spectacle that defines Goodwood. Before departure, take a last stroll through the Main Paddock to bid farewell to legendary sports cars and pick up a few festival souvenirs to remember the day.
Today you finally have the chance to sleep in or explore nearby Southampton at your own pace. Guests who arrived by flight via Heathrow will be transferred back to the airport in the late morning as part of a group transfer. After that, it’s time to say: ‘Goodbye England and see you soon.
