Sicily Targa Florio Classic 2026 Tour in an Alfa Romeo Spider

Following Sicily's Most Legendary Race Route

About This Tour

Experience Sicily and the legendary Targa Florio at the wheel of a classic Alfa Romeo Spider. This unforgettable classic car tour combines Palermo’s historic streets, the dramatic mountain roads of the Madonie Mountains, and front-row access to one of the world’s most legendary motorsport events. Follow the famous Targa Florio route through Sicily’s wild interior, drive the historic Circuito delle Madonie, and discover why Alfa Romeo became one of the defining names of Italian racing history.

Founded in 1906 by Vincenzo Florio, the Targa Florio is the oldest endurance race in the world, predating Le Mans, the Mille Miglia, and the Indianapolis 500. The race quickly became one of motorsport’s greatest challenges, attracting legendary manufacturers including Alfa Romeo, Bugatti, Maserati, Ferrari, and Porsche.

Italy

Sicily

For Alfa Romeo especially, Sicily became part of the brand’s identity. The demanding mountain roads of the Madonie rewarded lightweight handling, engineering precision, and driver skill — qualities that defined Alfa Romeo throughout its racing history.

Palermo — Sicily’s Historic Capital

Palermo is one of Italy’s most fascinating cities, shaped by Arab, Norman, Spanish, and Italian influences over centuries. The city’s UNESCO-listed landmarks include the Norman Palace, Palermo Cathedral, and the Palatine Chapel. Elegant theaters, lively street markets, and grand piazzas make Palermo one of the Mediterranean’s most rewarding cultural destinations.

The Madonie Mountains — Sicily’s Legendary Driving Roads

The Madonie Mountains offer some of the best classic driving roads in Europe. Tight curves, dramatic elevation changes, and quiet mountain villages create the same atmosphere that made the original Targa Florio legendary. Today, the region remains largely untouched, combining authentic Sicily with spectacular scenery and unforgettable roads perfectly suited to the Alfa Romeo Spider.
